MAYBE my LAST MEAL?

I'm going in for wrist surgery tomorrow at 8am EDST ... have to eat something substantial before midnight - dunno what to choose, since Froggy (a) won't leave the house to take me some place for a nice dinner, and (b) refuses to watch my Netflix pick of The Jazz Singer, which could very well be my last movie ever - YIKES!!

So this is what I'm having - something from EJ's: so, I'm thinkin', the chicksalsan on toasted challah, a side of fries, and some blueberry concoction from the menu for dessert ... whaddya think? Whatever!

Anyway, please, whoever reads my meager blog, think of me tomorrow from 8am-2pm and wish me a full recovery - I hope it will come true; after all, I now worship at the church of this guy! (who said to me at our initial consultation
Monday thedaybeforeyesterday, that I would be knitting again within two weeks ... how could a knitter not love him? cashmere scarf as a thankyou present, here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll be in my thoughts tomorrow. Here's to a speedy recovery!

From EJs I'd get a burger, waffles and a milkshake for my "last meal."

Your "last meal" choices sound good to me -- esp the toasted challah part, mmmmm. That cashmere scarf will be recovery knitting, so I'm not sure how well it will compare with your usual :-) tty after your surgery.

I've been out of town and missed your terrible episodes. I hope all went well. I was thinking mighty thoughts. I'd bring a casserole by if I was a little closer. Bev

I hope you are healing right up. What can one do while not knitting? Read knitting books and magazines?
