Time on my Hand

On the one-week anniversary of my surgery, since I'm still sadly unable to do any knitting, I thought that I might entertain you (while depressing myself) with all of my way-too-many WIPs.

This is where ravelry came to the rescue - I could have just linked you to my projects page, but, since I'm feeling a bit guilty about blogging, and have not much else to occupy my time, here goes: some projects ARE linked, since it seems the pix have disappeared from my hard drive - oh yeah - I forgot that I got a new laptop in November - that's why, and that's why I'm thankful for ravelry!

Now for a touch of current events: to quote Harry S Truman, "Give me a one-handed economist! All my economists say, On the one hand on the other."

So ... um ... maybe I've got some company out there?

You mean one-handed company? Sorry, can't help you. But I did want to stop by and wish you better soon! I'm lucky enough to have two hands that are fully operational, so I have no excuse for not getting more knitting done. Thanks for the pix!

YIKES! That's a lot of UFOs!

I hope you're keeping cool. Heal soon!

Gee, you have almost as many UFOs as I do! At least I have both hands, even if only one foot is operational. My knitting seems to be slowing down--maybe something to do with the high heat (usual for this part of the US at this time) and the high humidity (very UNusual for here) which means that even with the a/c on, there's not much motivation to do anything except try to breathe!
