Feeling rather uncomfortable about the thought that my little laptop might crash yet again (seems to happen on at least a semi-annual basis), I was on the hunt for a new flash drive.
While doing some errands yesterday, I dropped by Golden Sound (where they always give me great deals) and was talked into this,
which holds a whopping 8G of storage -
I went nuts trying to find something to hook it onto; for some reason yesterday, there were no lanyards to be found (I don't carry a key chain so I couldn't really hook it onto one).
Here's where crafting somes into play ... I remembered in the middle of the night that I had gone through a period of making 10-repeat row counters, and knew that I had a ton of plastic beads
left over from that obsession.
I also had some really pretty ceramic beads,
but they would end up being too heavy.
So, I also luckily had a leftover piece of elastic, which fit perfectly into the teeny-tiny holes in the flash drive ... so, I created something that hopefully will prevent me from losing this one!

note to self: don't even think about blogging about anything any more - Froggy just informed me that he lost his 2G flashdrive somewhere between hom and jury duty this morning! GAACK!
